Challenges in High Argillaceous Gold Mine Processing

  • The distribution size of gold-bearing minerals is very fine, many of them exist in the form of inclusions, and the fineness of grinding reaches -200 mesh 90%
  • The mineral content of clay minerals such as chlorite绿泥石and montmorillonite蒙脱石 is more than 40%;

  • The ore property fluctuates greatly and the mineral processing index is unstable

Technical solution:

  • Gold-assisted collector YX09845 combined with SIAX was used to strengthen the floatation of gold-bearing minerals and improve therecovery rate.
  • The use of clay depressant improves the separation effect of gold-bearing minerals and argillaceous minerals.

Final effect:

  • Gold concentrate grade increased from 20g/t to more than 40g/t;
  • The gold recovery rate was increased from 89% to 90.5%, and the recovery rate was increased by 1.5%;
  • Reagent cost is reduced by RMB 1 yuan/ton of raw ore
