Problem:

• Pyrite and pyrrhotite have high content and good floatability;
• It is difficult to improve the grade of copper concentrate;
• The using amount of lime is large, which affects the recovery rate of gold.

Technical solution:

• The use of high efficiency copper collector YX091, YX09510C, good selectivity, strong ability to capture chalcopyrite (黄河矿),while the ability to capture pyrite(黄铁矿),pyrrhotite(磁黄铁矿)is very weak;
• Strong depressant of pyrite and pyrrhopyrite are used to achieve effective inhibition of pyrite and pyrrhopyrite under pH neutral condition, and the recovery rate of copper and gold is improved.

Final effect:

• Copper concentrate grade increased from 16% to more than 19%;

• Copper recovery increased by 1%, gold recovery increased by 4%;

• Lime consumption is reduced by 80% to 500 grams/ton, and lime is not added when sulfur content is low.
