It is widely applied in the flotation of base metals or precious metal ores, including copper, gold, and lead-zinc. By selectively targeting graphite, organic carbon, and free carbon, it significantly enhances the hydrophilic properties of their surfaces. This prevents graphite or organic carbon from adsorbing onto the surface of the target mineral, thereby reducing competition for flotation. As a result, the target mineral can interact more efficiently with the collector, leading to higher recovery rates and concentrate grades. Additionally, it helps reduce the consumption of collectors and frothing reagents.

Dosage: The recommended concentration for the prepared solution is less than 3%. The addition point should be determined based on site conditions. Typically, it is added to the stirring drum or flotation tank, and it can also be introduced into the ball mill. The dosage is generally between 50-1000 g/ton of raw ore.
