Use/Application:The effectiveness of D497 is further amplified when used in combination with water glass (sodium silicate). This synergy enhances its depressant properties, improving its ability to selectively suppress clay minerals without affecting valuable mineral recovery.
Preparation Method:
- Laboratory Preparation: Use water at room temperature (≥5 ºC) to prepare a solution with a concentration of 2%-5%. Add water to a beaker, then slowly pour the solid reagent while stirring with a glass rod until fully dissolved.
- Industrial Preparation: Fill the mixing drum with water, activate the agitator, and gradually add the chemicals. Stir continuously for 1-2 hours until the solution is completely dissolved.
